Lots of things going on this summer! We're getting ready to host our first weddings, for one! The large covered area we were using for wood storage is now cleaned up, gravelled, and will soon have power for lights. We'll post pictures when it's ready.
The Washington Youth Summit filled all of our spaces for a few nights last week and had a wonderful time touring and learning about things at Mount Rainier National Park! It was great to have an opportunity to work with the Park Service to bring those kids out! The Packwood Station arboretum has now been opened up for public use, and the signs will arrive soon. We donated the space, Destination Packwood contributed the picnic tables, and the Windermere office cleaned up the extra wood and pine needles to get it ready. It's a wonderful group effort to make the space usable for people who need a place to stop for a picnic lunch! Comments are closed.
